After attending the beautiful engagement brunch of a friend, I started thinking. Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and Christmas is not far off. This is the time of year when people start coming into town for holiday visits.
Introducing your boyfriend or girlfriend to the family can be a bit stressful. For some, it might be more serious than that. Making the big leap and proposing can be downright nerve-racking. After long hours of planning the perfect proposal, practicing what to say and searching numerous jewelry stores, the only thing left is an answer.
That hopeful and long awaited “YES”.
After the proposal, the first thing that everyone says is, “Let me see the ring!”
I would like to share my favorite pieces from Couture ring designers Chanel & Danhov
The debut of Chanel’s fine jewelry was in 1932 at the “Bijoux de Diamants” exhibit in Paris, France. To celebrate the 80th anniversary, Chanel released a collection based off of the classic 1932 pieces.
1932 Ring
18K White Gold & Diamonds

Another beautiful collection stemmed from Coco Chanel’s favorite flower, the camellia. This flower is very feminine and delicate. This selection represents just that.

Danhov was founded in 1984 by Jack Hovsepian. You should expect nothing less than luxury and haute couture beauty from this designer. After shadowing his fashion designer father, Hovsepian looked to his background as inspiration for his creations. These avant garde designs are sure to catch the eye and halt all conversation!
